Paul Tyler to receive Urban Hero Award

Arts Council Grants Director, Paul Tyler to receive Urban Hero Award at DTC Annual Luncheon.

At their annual luncheon on December 10th, The Downtown Council will honor ten small businesses and individuals who are passionate about the arts and are making downtown Kansas City a more vibrant place to live, work and play. The honorees are people and organizations that have improved the quality of life Downtown or made a positive difference in its arts and cultural communities.

· Alexander Austin, Artist
· Marcy Chaisson, Co-Founder and General Manager, KCMETROPOLIS.org
· el dorado architects, Founded in 1996 in the Crossroads Arts District
· David Ford, Artist and Entrepreneur
· Patricia Jordan, Arts Professional
· David Hughes, Founder, Charlotte Street Foundation

· Steve Paul, Senior Writer and Arts Editor, The Kansas City Star
· Paul Tyler, Grants Director, Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City
· Richard Usher, Assistant City Manager, City of Kansas City, Missouri
