Mike Johnson, co-director of Corpse Bride, will head over the rainbow for Vanguard Animation’s latest CG/stop-motion hybrid of Wizard of Oz. The project will be called ‘Oz Wars.’
Vanguard Animation is known for such animated films as Valiant and Happily N'Ever After. Studio execs promise the new feature will be a "contemporary, freaky action-packed PG-13 audience pleaser."
