Comic writer Dwayne McDuffie died Tuesday. His age and whereabouts at the time of his death are unknown.
Along with several animated features, the Detroit, MI native wrote comics for comic superpowers DC and Marvel over the course of his career. His titles include "Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight," the Fantastic Four and the Justice League of America. He also founded publishing company Milestone Media in 1992.
