KS Makes Play to pull AMC Entertainment from downtown KC

AMC Entertainment has been part of the Kansas City skyline since 1920.  Now the theaters are the latest target in an escalating cross-border economic war within the metropolitan area. 

Acting City Manager Troy Schulte acknowledged Friday that the state of Kansas is reportedly offering an incentive package valued at $50 million to lure the 400 AMC employees now at the 10 Main office tower across the state line.
