KANSAS ARTS COMMISSION GRANT OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE JANUARY 10
Topeka, Kan. – The Kansas Arts Commission announces that the agency’s Fiscal Year 2012 grant guidelines will be available online on Monday, January 10, 2011.
The following grant opportunities will be available at http://arts.ks.gov/grants/index.shtml:
Artist Project and Collaboration and Development Grants
- Artist Community Collaboration Grants encourage artists to initiate and implement projects with organizations and communities both to benefit the public and to advance the artist’s creative work.
- Artist Development Grants encourage artists to further their business and artistic skills to advance their career.
- Arts Learning Program – for arts and cultural nonprofit organizations or government arts agencies with previous fiscal year budgets under $350,000 or non-arts organizations or agencies of any budget size
- Arts Leadership Program – for nonprofit arts organizations or government arts agencies with previous fiscal year budgets over $350,000
Operational Support for Arts and Cultural Organizations: Financial assistance to Kansas nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable 501(c)3 arts and cultural organizations or governmental arts and cultural entities.
Partnership Agreements: Partnership Agreements support 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and government agencies in conducting research or offering statewide artistic programs or professional development, training and consulting opportunities for artists, arts and cultural managers, staff and volunteers.
Fiscal Year 2012 Grant Guidelines Workshops will be held telephone/online on Wednesday, January 19, at 2:00 pm, and Thursday, January 20, at 10:00 am.
