About Us
The Mission of Northeast Arts KC is to provide, enhance, fund, market and support cultural events which bring the visual and the performance arts to the public in the Historic Northeast community, without regard to race, religion or ethnic group.
We recently expanded our projects to include Window Dressing, the Popsicle Parade, Chalk Walk Festival, and St John Community Gardens.

the weekend of May 19 and 20.  We are planning two full days of painting 30 boards to fit the theme of
"A House of Cards"
5 boards are already up with a
"Royal Flush"
all 5 completed at the Flower Lawn and Garden show.
Well over a dozen artists helped out.

Low Brow, No Brow

'Low Brow, No Brow' is a community exhibition and screening to support local Kansas City artists. Lua Pettit, Max Pond, and Evan Tedlock will be displaying their work at the Rondevu for the public.  Guests are invited to join the artists for refreshments as they display their work on the walls and in a video screening.  This event is free and open to everyone so please bring your friends and join us in supporting these artists and their work!

We have our Digital Heroes event set up. There will be some fun, food, and presentations. Not to mention that we'll have guests, Larry Kleinkemper, the executive president of AAUGA, and Jeff Mottle, the founder and CEO of CGArchitect as part of their Digital Heroes roadtrip. They'll be here with a crew recording the event.
